The purpose of POPIA is to stop your money from being stolen, to stop your identity from being stolen, and generally to protect your privacy, which is a fundamental human right.

What is Effectualness (Pty) Ltd's requirement to fulfill your requests and engage with you?

In order for us to be of service to you and to assist you during your customer journey with us, we require all new and existing customers and stakeholders to read and acknowledge our company policies in particular our POPIA privacy policy and to provide us with a lawful basis to process your limited personal information and personally identifiable information that is necessary for us to satisfy your business requests for our products and services.

How do I request a trial to buy or buy services?

We invite you to follow through the above links on this service page that will enable you to try to buy our products/services provided you are satisfied that the solution meets your objectives and use case.

When are invoices due?

Our invoices are due immediately upon receipt as invoices expire at 16:00 the same day. Just a hint, we provide our customers and potential customers with a trial to buy on certain products/services that are trialable and we advise that our customers and potential customers need to try out the solution for at least a minimum of 7 days up to a maximum of 15 days before paying out an invoice as we do not offer full refunds as refunds can only be granted provided certain conditions are met(Refer below).

How do I pay my invoice that is due?

We offer two secure payment methods being Ozow Secure Instant EFT payments and YOCO Secure Card payments of which both merchant services take between 24-72 hours for payments to reflect in our business banking account.

When do I receive my products/services that I ordered ?

We aim to fulfil orders within 24/48 hours after receiving the funds in our business bank account for immediately available products and solutions and aim to fulfil orders with our international vendors within 48/72 hours up to a maximum of 5-7 business days in certain circumstances.

In a rare case if I require a refund on the product or Software-as-a-Service(SaaS) I paid for is it possible ?

Refunds are only allowed within 7 days of receiving your payment, provided the distributor/vendor affords us a refund then only will we satisfy any refund request less all charges incurred by us being bank charges, forex charges the net amount will only be refundable in these rare cases. The maximum costs for recovery will be 20% of your invoice amount.

How do I get assistance in removing malware from my Windows computer using the malware removal service from Effectualness?

The first step is to complete our online request form, together with acknowledging our policies. The virus removal service is applicable only for remote assistance provided the infected machine is still usable for us to remediate it.

How do I get assistance in decrypting my ransomware encrypted files from my Windows computer using the ransomware file decryption service from Effectualness?

The first step is to complete our online request form, together with acknowledging our policies. The next step will be to provide us with  the ransomware note from your desktop and a file sample of an encrypted file to identify which malware family ransomware encrypted your files. The ransomware file decryption service is applicable only for remote assistance provided the infected/ransomware affected machine is still usable for us to administer the ransomware file decryption process.
